i have tried lots of different brands over the years and not found any difference (i use the dailys though) the tint is a good idea as you can tell if you have them inside out or not. i would recommend you take the deal with the solution though as an extra £1.50 a month works out cheaper than buying the solution separatly and you do need it for monthlys to avoid infections.

Thats expensive - considering it s a very basic entry level lens. Most independent Optoms are charging about 3 quid a month. Add solutions and fees to this and you'll get a complete package INCLUDING all your visits for around 12-14 quid a month. Now thats a bargain.

fwiw Specsavers change their "own brand" lens to whatever is he best deal for them at whatever time. Eg Their One Day disposdable lens has just changed to a different manufacturer - so BE CAREFUL - not all one day products are alike. Do a "pepsi challenge" trial and try one brand in one eye and one in another - you'll soon feel the difference.
