Asda Organic 4 Pints Milk £1.73 or 2 for £3 @ Asda of course!

£1.73 @ George (Asda George)
What it says in the title Asda organic milk 4 pints or 2.272 litres whole or semi skimmed. Might not be the greatest deal, but we all need it for tea, coffee, cereals etc, I could go on but I wont.

Cold. Why pay more to fund a substandard and abusive ideology? (i.e. use of homeopathy to treat sick animals - just don't go there.)

Organic milk contains more omega 3, so there are health benefits

:!: I'd strongly advise against quoting the Daily Mail as a source of any knowledge, let alone scientific!

I have conducted research of my own in this field (as it were) - the facts are you get a little more alpha linolenic acid from grass-fed cows than you do from concentrate-fed cows. Whether the grass is organically grown or not makes no difference. The kind of difference we actually get is miniscule, and it's almost all in the sort of omega-3 fat that you need a lot of to make any difference (short chain or ALA). So no health benefits from this or any other organic options, frankly, just bigger food bills.

PS flax is a good source of ALA and thus omega-3 - hence the handle
