I am using Asda and have been trying to set up the voicemail. I phoned the 121 to set it up but it says to phone their customer service line for help. So I have to pay 25p just to set up a voicemail... Or is there another way to set it up?
#10
Have you registered the sim with Asda, they credit you account with £1 when you do
#11
Have been using them for a over a year now, am very happy. Have never spent less money on calls :) Excellent value, very good network.

Not bad. the only bad thing is you have to actually tell people your on Asda mobile
#15
I love o2s web bolt on with free txts on each top up and free credit then rewards with the duck game and used to discount home broadband
#16
I have been waiting for months now for Asda to sell a phone @ £25 including £10 Tariff. Missed the last one because there was no stock. got the sim but waiting ages.....

Why do you have to tell them? Why would you tell anyone what network your phone was on?
#18
yes, but when you get older you prefer to brag about how cheap you get things for, ive been on asda a few months since my 3 contract finsihed, brilliant, if you make a call it will cost you 8 p even if you only sepak for 10 seconds, i bare this in mind and often look at the timer when on a call ....

Def Hot if long winded calls is the last thing you want, good if your single ... lol

Asda sims work on Vodafone phones as well if this helps.

Ofcom should force them to express data charges per gigabyte. Let's see how many they sell at £200/gigabyte.

Are you ignorant?

A £15 O2 top up gets you unlimited texts, 500MB of web, and for a fiver 1000mins to O2, leaving £10 credit to use as you please. Furthermore whilst Asda mins cost 8p a minute, O2's first three mins are 25p, and minutes after that are 5p, cheaper than Asda.

A £15 Asda top up gets you 188mins OR 375 texts, which is nothing compared to the O2 deal above.

Granted, Asda is incredible value for money, and an excellent deal for those who top-up a fiver a month. But if your topping up 10-15 monthly, you'd be better off with O2 paygo, or a SIM only deal.

Voted Hot BTW.

ASDA mobile is a constant bargain I enjoy! It can't go wrong when two-third of all mobile users are on Pay As You Go tariffs!

Just a note for people who has to call non-georgraphic numbers. This is the reply of CS of ASDA:

Non-Geographical Numbers

Where the cost is 'Various' this means that this number range is broken down
to a lower level, so cannot be summarised as a simple single charge.

Wow, is that right?
I've just bought a Samsung Genio phone for my son for Christmas but it's locked to Vodafone and the Vodafone shop cannot say when they can unlock it (no codes or something?) and they want £20 for the pleasure OF TRYING!

Vodafone's PAYG rates are very expensive compared to Asda so the Asda deal looks great.
#28
I see that Tesco now offer 7 days unlimited internet for £2.
