sorted byMany times I have gone to check for offer that are supposedly "nationwide" but nothing. Price is not updated, and sometimes even worse, when they reduce the price but not as much as the nationwide offer. The most recent incident I recall was for the "LOOSE BANANAS" offer that went in Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys and the rest... Many people from different locations confirm the price of 67p/kg, but when I go they only reduce it from 84p to 74p ....
ANYHOW, I do think this deal is store specific where the muslim demographic is substantial.
Still hot
lol

I've been waiting ages for a less-than £1/kg rate for rice to stock up.
I left asda with a trolley of 40kg of rice
Two stocked up at parents, one at oh's parents, one at mine.
I'll be amazed if we need to buy rice again before Christmas 2011.
I didn't know there was one? I didn't look sorry.
Instore should match asda.co.uk so you can check
shezaan parathas fo 80p
samosas and rolls for £3.00
I realise that many people think most of the UK is in London, but the largest metropolis in India is also located there?
Fudco
Priceless.
also my friend is fasting..but he has bad breathe...yikes
i told him lol..its good to be hoenst!
That is what it said on the packet, "London Bombay Mix" whether it was the company of the brand I don't know.
So no, I was not assuming all bombay mix is from London or anything similar, I am not sure what you were implying exactly all I did was post the deals I saw under the Ramadan section in my ASDA, sorry if that caused offence...
10kg Basmati £9
Bombay mix two for £1
But they also have things like coconut milk and chopped tomatoes 2 for £1
Coconut milk has shot up in price recently so 2 for £1 is amazing value
halal sweets ftw!
Very little in the way of regional foods in my local Asda, Farmers and toffs in the local area, Not sure what section of society I belong to!
you summed it up
This kind of comment in relation to the topic can suggest you are either ignorant or have a very lowly mentality.
Thankyou
I notice Christmas items are slowly starting to appear in some stores yet it's 4 months until Christmas.
Ah bless, you have obviously travelled to these "Muslim States" to find out that these foods are not being stocked...thank you for your effort.
Nonetheless...thanks to OP for the info. Will go and get some rice, great price!
Harrods and Selfridges have opened their Christmas shops a few weeks ago. You wouldnt find it in any other Christian States oO
Surprising given the demographics of the local area.
