Sorry but -5 is rubbish, if you put it in neat it might just work for most normal winter conditions, but if there is a cold snap, get the stuff from Lidl, it goes down to -60 undiluted, so you can dilute it quite a lot and it will still be better than this. Only trouble is getting it in stock. http://www.hotukdeals.com/visit?m=310&q=1686374

There is the alternative to simply remove the windscreen and therefore it doesn't even need scraped in the morning as well as save lots of money into the bargain.

"For winter & summer use Freezing point -5°C"

Err, how does that work then? Perfect in Florida I guess.

You must be getting forgetful in your old age as the Austrians used Anti-Freeze not screen wash.

Royals comment was a good one, yours makes no sense, has to be one of the worst come backs I have ever seen on here :(

buy a better product, one that goes down to a good temperature and also cleans the windscreen, the Costco one is very good, Prestone, granted more expensive but will work.

Yep, the stuff Lidl, and occasionally Aldi, sell goes down to -60. I buy several 5 litre bottles every winter and they last us all year round, just dilute the hell out of it throughout the warmer months ( I easily get 50 litres out of each 5 litre bottle) and less so in the winter months.

My wife calls this stuff weasel pi55 - some North American term apparently :D Just thought you might like to know that.

Anyhoo, good price for something that you'll use loads of this winter.

Last winter was reduced on HUKD so checked local store and was £2 dearer. Left it thinking it may come down in price. I haven't seen it since, not even this winter.

If you want FREE screen wash HALFORD's were doing a FREE winter check with free topup of screen wash.
(yes mine was empty when i took it!)

You bet I'm stocking up on this one
Thanks

Use this neat only if you don't want it to freeze and that's only to -5.

My local motor factors has stuff at £5 for 5 litres and makes 25 litres at -5 protection so the cheap supermarket / pound shops stuff is false economy

Why would you let the monkeys at Halfrauds near your car just for a free washer bottle top - up? This is only £2.50 for 5 litres of concentrated screenwash and it'll last you much longer than the free top -up for goodness sake!!
