#3

#4

#5
This stuff is boss!!

Not very hot but you can fix that easily!
#6

#7

It can't be any worse then Sharwood's or Patak's
#8
It was 14p in my local last week....was 4p and 5p before that though. It's actually quite nice (thought I'd give it a go at that price!).
#9
Not bad to dip your chips in I suppose.
banned#10
I bought a can when it was 14p just for a laugh

its only water mixed with curry powder so I guess 13p was for the tin can lol
#11
When you taste this you'll realise that "it's got to be worth a punt at 5p" is in the same class of logic as "let's buy shares in Woolworths and C&A"
#12
i tried this a few week ago and actually enjoyed it great to have jar in cupboard for when youre in a rush just av it with some chips :) and it did used to be 4p but supermarkets always put prices back up then reduce em and say rollback etc......
#13
is this a good quality product?
#14
Heat added - who cares what it tastes like

Got the inlaws coming for christmas :-)
#15
What's the nutrional stats on this shizz? Salt + sats or is it literally just water..
#16
stuff looks better on the way out
#17
Its really, really horrible IMO.
#18
To have with chips from the chippy or with a bit of leftover chicken, it's quite nice. To all those moaning about the content - like a Chinese takeaway is any better!
#19
ive had this and thought it tasted quite nice.
#20
Good with chips or some frozen chicken with added water. Wouldn't waste decent ingredients on it though.
#21
Add a large pack of bog roll to your shopping list after buying this!

Oh come on...............:whistling:

I bought the morrison's value curry sauce the other day, because I compared the ingredients & nutrition on the jar to a well known brand, and the cheap one had less fat & sugar in it!! The ingredients were almost the same.
The first few mouthfuls were ok, but after that I couldn't eat anymore!!
#24
This is actually not bad - deffo worth the 4p or whatever it is!
#25
Hot from me( and so will your backside be):w00t:

Its really, really horrible IMO.

Oh come, you are always negative you people!!!

This product is excellent to make decent dinners, like the one where your stepmother is invited, or your ex-friends :p

:giggle:

Actually I never tried this one, but I tried Asda cheap value Chili Con Carne...

Doooooooooooooooooo n't I regretted all the time, I would have prefered to try eating the dog can, really!!!
:-D

Bought the Sainsbury's one before, and it's just like curry sauce you get in chinese take aways - so perfect for a home made curry chip (roll). Not advisable to be used like an actual "Indian Curry" though....

You'd need to add heat to this. It's like curry flavoured soup.
#31
tastes like chip shop curry
#32
does it really taste like chinese curry sauce? i bought some last week (it was 14p) thinking id save a bit of money instead of paying £1.70 everytime the kids want a curry sauce with their chinese but wasnt brave enough to make them try it at the weekend lol
maybe ill heat a bit the day before just to see
#33
Anyone know what the salt content is please ??
#34
I had the Sainsburys one once, few problems, its too watered down, why dont they just make it thicker and sell in smaller jars?, its weak in flavour so additional spices are necessary. I tried eating it with chips but it made the chips taste awful. I was really hoping i would like it. Gets rather expensive using Encona.

I like it.
I put it through a sieve to get the currents out or whatever they are.
Lovely on chips or chuck some chicken in it.

tastes like chip shop curry

Exactly. Nowt wrong with that. It's a good thing. I bet those chippies get it straight from Asda's too. With a quantity discount, obviously. Prolly 2p a jar. :-D

People actually eat this?
#38
mmmmm, just look at that label, isn't it enticing? Shame there's no serving suggestion though, maybe its not supposed to be served?
