I always buy part worn tyres from a local dealer and they are like brand new. Always under £20 a tyre :)

Yep, well done. Most second-hand stuff is cheaper than new stuff. Shall I post a deal for some part-worn underpants which are cheaper than new ones? Would you vote it hot? GTFO! X)

Checked the prices for mine vs Tyre Shopper (who will of course match the lowest price you can find) and Asda win

Michelin 265/70R16 112H Latitude Cross

Asda £131.45
TS £160.50

Hot & worth a look, if only to get Tyre Shopper tpo price match

Never knew this. Got one 8 miles away. Will keep it in mind.

good find... heat added

Don't forget price includes disposal, valves, balancing and fitting . A lot of garages would charge £10 on top of quoted tyre price .
#8
wow never knew this , there is a centre 1.1 miles away from me !!
#9
0.38 miles away from work! That is handy as hell! Thanks a lot! This is brilliant!

Cheaper at Tyre Shopper for me, and they use the same tyre fitters.

Once Asda gets this up and running with some degree of success...then the rest of the Supermarkets follow!!
Most of the big players now sell other things besides groceries... Banking, Insurance etc...

Oh... I see a price and service war....Great for car owners...But lousy for independent Garages

Tesco tyres were cheaper for my car. Not sure how much of a deal this is as I think it pays to shop around everywhere. They don't seem much cheaper than others.

Also don't rely on number plate to get correct tyre size. I entered mine and it wasn't even with correct the diameter

scotland comes up becuase as the crow flies it's 20miles or less from Larne. Such a pain.

There's a guy in Ballyclare does part worn, ( usually nearly new with little mileage or no obvious wearing down of tred) for a very reasonable price, especially if you are after the more expensive types.

Is that fitted and all inclusive of valves balancing and old tyre disposal ? Genarally you can add upwards of £10 to your final price for these items. Asda price is all inclusive fitted balanced valves and disposal.

Remarkably, the AA came out best for me (fitted) as i have been looking for tyres for a while now. Plus they give discount to AA members.

Very good find!

Michelin PS3 are a fiver cheaper than Blackcirlces. Actually there appears to be larger range of tyres all at cheaper prices. I'll be sure to check this out next time I need a set replaced.

Dunlop SP Sport for my Honda - 205/55/16 £72 fitted - very good price.

Won't need them for another 18k, they last for ages.

Just checked the price of the tyres I had fitted at my local last week.

ASDA - £63.58
My local - £60

Don't believe the hype, shop around and haggle a deal.

Are you sure? Have you checked Tyre Shopper via quidco? They deliver the tyres to National Tyres who then fit them for free. Probably part of the same Group.
