Was in Shipley ASDA and at the fish counter they had whole salmon fillets up for 35p per lb down from 79p. Roughly the salmon fillet would quite easily serve 6-7 people.

I bought one which was sliced evenly for 6 people at £4.19. This worked out cheaper than the the multipack offer (2 twin pks for £5).

I'm confused by this. Isn't fresh salmon nearer £10 p/kg? Are you sure you got 6Kg of fresh salmon fillets for under £5??
