Ashoka 5KG Basmati Rice £3.50 at Asda

£3.50 @ Asda
I've spent over double the amount on double the weight, this way I got good family size (of 10KG) for £7 (for 2 bags)

It has been at this price for about 3 weeks. I have been using it and it's good. Not seen any other basmati at a price lower than this.

It's Indian crap rice. Pakistani rice brands are much better and cleaner.

Strange comment as Pakistan is regularly one of the biggest importers of Indian food products including rice. Sour grapes, eh?

Heat added.

Not interested in what Pakistan imports/exports in this thread. Irrelevant comment!

Not really. You made a sweeping statement when you don't even know if that Pakistani rice is actually Pakistani or imported from India?

No problem with you propping a brand, but when you prop a brand and rubbish a direct competitor without a shred of evidence then you will find disagreements.

Do you normally practice for this or is it natural for you?
