Got the same.
Ah boo
Unfortunately due to our account being compromised early on today, the item you ordered was incorrectly priced and not available.

Unfortunately as we are not able to fulfill your order, I would appreciate if you could please cancel your order and re-order from another seller.

Do not contact the email address ([e-mail address removed]) as on order comment as this is not our email but a phishing scam. Always use the Amazon messaging service to communicate with us.

I would like to once again apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Why is this cold for a half price lens? :S

My guess is the uncertainty over the "contact us" issue raised above.

are these any good for normal pc

Yeah I'm not using a Mac -- got them today and I have no regrets. Well worth a tenner.

I'm tempted by these tbh. I'm wondering if they're a decent replacement for my 7-y/o Harman Kardon ones.

There's a fairly low risk involved with trying them -- as I mentioned, CEX will help you to profit from buying these, so if they're not up to scratch you have that option.

All the reviews I've read have stated a purchase price of £45-50, so I'd add a star onto any review you read when considering the good value this price represents.

Personally I would consider 64GB to be the smallest SSD to use - once you install Windows 7 (or 8/8.1) thats half the space gone, after i install my apps I wouldn't have any space for data!
£/GB I'd rather have a different drive....
Yeah, 60GB is about the minimum for 7 and above. At 32GB, you're really limited. As an example, a fresh install of 7 with Office and Chrome is taking up 27GB here.
i got two and was charged £22 inc postage in total. one is for an old small pc i'm setting up for someone to surf the web, so 32gb is fine and it should boot faster than the HDD. the other was for a laptop for someone to speed that up, similarly for them to surf the web with. as long as they work it's a great deal for sorting out a couple of old computers that folk can use

If only smart tv's had a sata port! Would be ideal for pause/recording for £12
No more than a USB stick or USB HDD would be, as 4K random read/write which is the advantage of SSDs would not be utilised to any great effect for this application.

I have an LG TV and it refuses to work with a usb stick, so for me a 32gbb sata drive would be good as it could work as a harddisk without problem, also silent so you wouldn't get that slight noise recording when the tv is off, so for me £12 for a disk would be a good deal If I didn't need a converter to go with it :(

I don't understand why these gadgets can't just hook up to your existing Wi-Fi rather than creating their own network. Well, I can, but it would be better if they could do both.
you can hook any hard drive to your wireless router but this is for when ur away from home, on a job ect, having its own hotspot reduces data breaches

Old model ocz have a bad reputation if this was an agility 3 I'd snap it up mine is 3 years old and still going strong
Amen to that. I have an Agility 3 as well, fantastic piece of kit and still going strong from new.
alhrona
would you recommended this anyone?? I have a Sata 2 board

Even with SATA2 I'd go for a current drive - the snapinness your OS will gain by using SSD is due to the random read performance, rather than maximum theoretical sequential read/write.

SATA2 cannot stop random reads being extremely quick.

And this drive is from before OCZ went bust due to very unreliable SSDs

What OS are you running? XP & Vista don't know about SSDs, they can't run Trim automatically.

Edit: OOS, panic over.

Appreciate any help..

The price seems to fluctuate up and down. I thought I had missed out as well, but price came down again a few days later and I grabbed it. Just keep an eye on it, it might drop again.

which glasses do people use with this for 3d?
Talking of fun prevention, I think I've slowly but surely convinced the missus about getting a projector instead of a new telly. I should have bought first and asked questions later though as this deal doesn't seem to be coming back :/
My projector arrived today, but the Fun prevention officer (wife) , has said I am not getting it till my birthday. Ha ha that's what she thinks. I will hatch a cunning plan and view it in no time.
Not Expired guys, deal still on!
Sorry for the dumb question, but can I reduce the image size? I want to keep the projector further away from the screen, but apparently that will produce an image size of 300 inches!!

I have been watching the price on this unit for a while. Its the lowest it has been so far. Amazon probably price matched Richer Sounds sale price, but I would rather buy from Amazon from the comfort
