£50 for a pair of Jeans? They paid some poor bangladeshi kid 20p or so to make it!

Talk about screwing you!

To be fair mate he's not talking about a pair of Tesco Value £5 gardening denims. The OP is referring to Diesel, and there are some serious reductions on good designer clothes here!

Some good deals on there - Cheers op, heat added

You mean they just slapped the sticker on in Italy? Thats pretty much how it works!

It's the same thing - Diesel stuff along with everything else is made in Asian countries. Sure people like to wear expensive clothes, but see them for what they are - you are paying extra simply for the label, nothing more. Diesel is just as good as tesco's clothes.

The mark up on things like diesel is for the design. Hardly comparable with Tesco value clothing. The same could be said for Versace dresses, Jimmy Choo shoes or Tiffany jewellery (with their mark up over other jewellery with similar clarity diamonds).

No, it's much MUCH better stuff. Trust me.

I am old enough to remember when Levis jeans were £25 a pair (about the correct price for them now as well). Diesel is a well known name (I have 3 pairs that i bought when i had the money to spare) but the recent ones are too low for my taste. Everytime you bend down to pick something up (not soap in the shower!) you've got your ****/ underwear on display (WTF).

Well with everything in life if you can afford it and think its worth the money your paying then go for it.

Ill never understand this kind of garbage on deals like this. If you honestly think Tescos jeans are comparable, keep buying them and save the good stuff for people like us :)

No.. it actually tells you on the description that they are made in Italy.

lol at comparing Tesco denim to much higher quality designer denim.

Disagree, I bought some Ralph Lauren jeans about a year ago,
Best jeans i've ever had, no signs of wear, no stretching or shrinking, there as new.

I also had a pair of Asda jeans courtesy of mum, which were destroyed with couple of weeks.
