Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is an epic action game set across a blend of present and historical time periods, that places the player in the role of the leader of a Renaissance-era guild of assassins out for vengeance against the remnants of the Knights Templar. Set primarily in Rome, this sequel to the critically acclaimed Assassin's Creed II features returning characters from the previous game and includes new features such as the ability to command members of your guild in combat, a new arsenal of weapons and multiplayer game support in which players can assume different assassin characters.

I dont understand why people are voting cold. It seems like a fairly good deal if you have a local morrisons and dont mind waiting.
#5
Awesome if its true. OP has posted a number of Morrisons "heads up" deals before, so fingers crossed...
#6
£24 was the best price I could get it for last week. Multiplayer is fantastic.
#7
still waiting for it to drop lower than £20 before I grab it

Can you provide an image of this document in this thread?
If not, then following the same pattern as other threads of this nature, this "Deal" should be considered a "heads-up" Misc thread until the offer is live.

Once live in-store, or proof can be demonstrated in advance of the offer commencing, this thread is transferred back to a "Deal" thread.

BFN,

Seems to be taking ages for play.com to hit that £17.99 but mark my words it will happen!

For clarity, as I have been contacted by "Private Message" by another member...

I have just been conscious of alleged deals resulting in wild goose chases in the past that it is not fair to everybody else to "advertise" in advance as they may miss other (then current) deals for the same items that may have expired come the day the proposed offer is "live". Also, if people make special travel arrangements on the day the offer is available they incur an expense (in both time & money) that may be wasted.

Releasing this information to the public is the role of the press departments/teams in large organisations.

Obviously any Company does not want a competitor undercutting them with days to go before the offer is due to start because their employees are relaying the information to the public (early).

However, if I did not already own the title (several times over due to my kids wishing to play concurrently) then I would have welcomed the information like anybody else & waited upon Monday to make my purchase(s).

I am not being pedantic. It is called an opinion & similar opinions have been shared by others in the past when threads of this nature have been moved (by Moderators, obviously) to "Misc" & then moved back again.

Please stop being confrontational.

Yes, and thanks meh23213.

As fp has stated this is not presently a deal, Misc until confirmed as already stated people could waste time and money chasing this potentially non existent deal!

Although I agree with you fanpages - regarding wanting proof of the deal, so that people don't waste a trip on a wild goose chase - the OP (meh23213), has previously posted "from Monday" Morrison's deals which have proven to contain accurate information. :)

OK, Josh, if there is history of such deals coming to fruition that may be why this thread is still in the "Deals" forum after Moderator intervention above.

I will leave this topic now (much to most people's satisfaction perhaps) but I'll add a final point that just because an "admin document" has been seen 3 to 4 days before an offer is due to be implemented is not a firm indication that it will be.

Management decisions can, & do, change regularly as I am sure everybody can relate to.

If my reservations are unfounded then I can live with that. I was just trying to be helpful. If I failed so be it.

Thanks for your input, & your input as well, adamipswich.

BFN,

fp.

PS. From experience chatting with you I know you’ll not want me to mention the transposition of characters in one word above so I’ll let you change it with a stealth edit so nobody notices! I have changed the quote in this comment already! :)

Oh for goodness sake, the guy has been good enough to let us know that a good game is going to be 20 quid on Monday ........... and you're not even interested in buying it !!!!!

Thanks OP!

I'm sure this is legit, I mean £20 doesn't take a massive leap of faith considering it's been out a while now.

fanpages wasn't making the point, that the deal should be in "Misc" until proven based on the price being "too good to be true"; rather, it was because the deal has only been validated on the basis that the OP says it's true.

fp was only trying to help other's by warning other's of a potential wild goose chase! Now it has been proven that the OP has history of posting similar deal's and ultimately why this thread has not been moved to Misc.

The OP and fp are only trying to help, whether it's a deal or in the Misc as long as it help's other's is the main point!

Oh well, I just bought this on Amazon today for £23! It's probably for the best, I don't seem to have a great track record of finding Morrisons deals. :)

You'd be surprised how many times somebody responds in a thread "try ringing them" when a member asks something that could easily be resolved by telephone.

Looking though some "Misc" threads it is also easy to see that somebody would sooner post a "Help" thread rather than typing their request into a web search engine or using a telephone.

Unfortunately this is the world we are now living in. Rows & rows of people sat on public transport all weakening their neck muscles to pass genetic defaults onto the next generations because they are bent over electronic devices trying to find information rather than talking to the person next to them.

By that logic, every deal posted should start out in "Misc" until "validated".

Yes, & in majority online deals can be validated immediately upon listing as a "deal".
Offline "deals" are demonstrated with images of in-store advertising (banners, or leaflets), newspaper pages, receipts at the point of sale, links to press releases, or anything rather than just speculation & claims that "somebody said" it would happen.

I do not know if you visited HotUKDeals prior to joining just over 2 weeks ago, Bradly, but over the years we have seen enough "deals" listed that have just been rumours to remain cautious.

Thanks for the updated image, meh23213.
