Online/Instore, reserve and collect available, gutted as i paid 39.99 a week ago

Please note this is special edition, i know the normal version in gameplay is 24.99.
Special Edition Includes:

Exclusive Multiplayer Character “Officer” - With his dark uniform, the Officer merges with the shadows to watch and stalk his prey; just one stealthy but powerful attack is enough to finish his target. Your enemies won’t see you coming.
Exclusive “Trajan Market” map
Exclusive packaging
The critically acclaimed single player experience of Assassin's Creed is back and better than ever as Ezio returns in a powerful struggle against the powerful Templar Order. Now a legendary Master Assassin, he must journey to Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood that will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

And for the first time, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood offers a never-before-seen multiplayer layer. Players can help the Templars by using Abstergo to train in the art of Assassination to eliminate the Assassins once and for all. Players can choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in different game modes.

#5

#9
well £1 more from the deal i missed out in evening...no worries, for the extra content a £1 extra is not that bad.
#10

Edit - say's pre-order now, is that means they dont have it in stock?

pre-order = OOS so would rather pay £2 extra at game than wait weeks for gamestation to get their act together
#18

My goodness that website is a shocker.. Not altogether sure I want to trust them with my cc details, in case the backend is as poorly built as the front end (missus)
#22
How do we know this is in-store? I might send the other half for a wander down to pick it up for me but don't want her to go if there's no need.

This is definitely not instore. 29.99 I'm afraid, tried blagging them as well to match online price cause website crap/not working properly. Point blank refused!

went for it at zavvi in the end as only £20 after 15% code and TCB

I will personally be waiting, and it is for three main reasons:

1) Backlog - too many games to finish off from last year. To add to that pile would mean infinity years in which to complete - I can't do that!

2) Lower Price + Assassins Creed = Happiness. I just feel it isn't worth full whack. £10...that is a price we can all agree on. With all the extra DLC bundled in as a GOTY edition.

3) Restraint - trying to hold off for as long as possible without buying another game. Plan to wait till November.

But I did heat the deal, for it is a good price. This should have came down long ago, especially considering Castlevania is far cheaper and apparently far better despite being lower-funded and developed by a smaller team.

No1 is key. Never understand people who keep buying games at mid-high prices when they have a pile of unplayed ones.

that'll show them!

unless gamestation is owned by game, but that's unlikely!
