Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Da Vinci Edition: Includes DLC (PS3) only £17.99 @ Amazon. This is the cheapest I have seen and can find for this edition which includes the new DLC, The Da Vinci Disappearance. The DLC itself costs around £7.99 itself on PSN so this is good buy considering the price and it seems to be the cheapest around at the moment. Don't forget to collect Nectar Points and 5% NUS discounts too.

Many thanks BradyBrade! Possibly.. personally I think it flows better and you understand it more if you have played the first 2, however I didn't play the first and I understood it ok so I think you should be ok :D

Just to say Brady, more for confirmation, you wont spoil anything for yourself in the first two by playing this first, if that makes sense.

Is this a "complete edition" with respect to DLC? Sorely tempted but I haven't even put my ACII disc in the PS3 yet!

Does anyone know what the difference between this version and the platinum (PS3)/Classic (Xbox 360) version which is released next week and priced lower?
#11
Argh! Only ordered the normal version the other day from Amazon preowned for £12. It's still in the process of being prepared so I can't cancel it. So bloody annoyed!

Great price this, though.

You can only order AC2 for now, as this is the part when Ezio Auditore story starts.

AC1 is set within different times and place and you play other character ub it too (the only connection is the "present character" Desmond, but its story is told at the beggining of AC2) , but if you are planning to play AC: Revelations in the future, then I guess you should play it too - but be warned - it's pretty boring compared to AC2 and AC:B.

Just the packaging, unless I'm very much mistaken. Good find - you should post the deal. (Go with Zavvi or The Hut, if you do - it's a few pence cheaper there.)
#14
@bradybrade! I would skip AC1 as playing it is like pulling teeth. AC2 is fantastic though.

This one contains the Da Vinci Dissappearance Dlc (£7.99 on PSN/ 800 MS points), whereas the platinum/classics one doesn't, thats what I believe is the case.

This one, it contains DLC worth £8 and having read the details for Platinum, I don't believe that will have the Da Vinci DLC

Platinum maybe be cheaper buy 1 or 2 pounds, but since this has the DLC which is £7.99 on PSN this seems like the better deal :D

It depends how much you are into trophies/achievements. the Da Vinci DLC adds further trophies to the game.. the DLC with platinum does not.

Aigars if I'm right you have payed £14.85 or near enough for the platinum edition. Personally I would cancel it and go for this but only if you want the DLC The Da Vinci Disappearance, which is isn't included in the Platinum edition. For £3 extra it doesn't seem like a bad buy, but its up to you. :D

ok done :D canceled on zavvi :) bought this
