I know this has been posted as £30 instore only, but don't think that this was posted before. I'm sure you'll let me know if it has! ;)

Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.

Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other players from around the world.

It’s time to join the Brotherhood.

=======================================

Very unreliable company, nearly every deal of theirs that has been posted on this website they haven't had the stock to fill.

Would recommend looking elsewhere for this title. Check their merchant page for more info.

Sainsburys entertainment seem to take for ever to post anything. I've order about 10 things from them in the last 2 weeks and still haven't received anything from them. It's got "Jabba" TheHut written all over it.

Just a guess.

Hot price for a game that's only been out 3 weeks. And a great game at that.

I ordered the Mario All Stars Anniversary for the wii, then when I got the confirmation email it said despatch of the 12th (this was prior to release).

I tried to cancel it and there was no option for to cancel the order! I emailed them, and got no response, then was on hold for about 10-20 minutes on three or four occasions, eventually phoning Sainsbury's main customer service line and was told there is no way the entertainment branch could call me due to the Data Protection Act!

After another phone call I eventually got through and the helpful girl told me they have one person looking into the email queries (her) and also that they buy from suppliers based on orders received, so they have quite long 'lead' times on their deliveries as often they won't have the item in stock.

This is a multi billion pound company for God's sake! It'd have to be an amazing price for something I really want for me to go back anytime soon.

It does smell of Jabba! Who managed to cock things up again, saying they don't have stock and are waiting to hear from their supplier, yet it's showing in stock on the website, I complain (again) and then I get a despatch email. They don't know their **** from their elbow.

Edit: but yeah, good price regardless! And the game is really good. Took a while to get going and the frame rate/tearing is pretty bad at times, but the new elements they brought in really work.

Telephoned the store and they're selling it for £39.99 so I've ordered it online for £29.99 lets hope it arrives in the estimated delivery time of 3 working days.
#6
They were selling this online for the same price at launch. I ordered one but after 24 hours they still hadn't done anything so I just cancelled the order and bought it instore from Toys R Us for the same price.

ordered loads from sainsburys. never had a problem. Mind you, I dont purchase obvious misprices lol

Signed. I ordered 4 different items this last week for them.
Received 4 emails all at once this morning. 1 for each item all stating..

"We're getting in touch to confirm that an item you ordered recently from
Sainsbury's Entertainment has been cancelled.
This is because the item has unfortunately been deleted by the supplier and
is no longer available."

Seems they quite literally can't deliver on their promises.
Useless bunch of amatuers let their customer service phone ring for 10+mins with no message. Gave up eventually and will never use them again, no matter how tempting the offer may seem to lure me in.
#11
Pretty good deal thanks, but i don't think i'll risk it.
#12
Same here Grantking.
Sainsburys Entertainment are a waste of time and won't be going near them again.
Tossers.
#13

#14

#15

Same here, ordered 2 items for presents earlier in the week, just got email saying orders cancelled - no explanation. Are they actually running a legitimate business?????? I bet sainsburys are ecstatic that this two bit company addition are ruining their good name and i for one shall never buy from their "entertainment" website company again. Bah Humbug.
#18
Likewise. Just had about 10 orders cancelled, mostly games and the XBOX 360 arcade.

This definitely stinks of Jabba. A household name with a great reputation, tarnished.
#19
Had to vote it cold, very unreliable company that's cancelled thousands of orders so far.

Has anyone actually had anything delivered from sainsbury's entertainment yet? (NOT the standard sainsbury's site, that's run by different people.)

Should be this price or cheaper elsewhere very soon, seeing as it's a Ubisoft release and they always drop in price quickly
#20
Sainsburys Entertainment is not part of Sainsburys. It is a company in Guernsey that Sainsburys have allowed to use their name.

Probabaly not one of their best ideas considering the number of unhappy customers

Sounds like the same email I just got for a copy of 'Pure' I ordered. I guess it was only £3.99 so I can't really complain. Haven't used them before myself...

I am worried now that I have been informed it is actually a third party site using the Sainsbury name. Just think of the personal/credit card details they have gathered from us. If I knew that I would have not registered with them.

#35
I sent an email to Sainsburys Entertainment because I was really upset with them cancelling mine and a lot of other people's orders etc. Anway as I am fairly new to the site I wasn't able to post their reply to me. So if anyone is interested in posting it on the review site maybe you could copy and post it on there. Here's the email I received
Dear ....................
First of all I would like to apologise for having offended you so harshly
as to merit such a a reprimanding.
I appreciate how frustrating this experience has been for you, so I would
like to seize this opportunity to offer some manner of explanation.

The Sainsbury's Entertainment website operates on a buy to order process
and therefore certain products we advertise we do not keep in stock.
As soon as a customer places an order then we request this item to be sent
to our warehouse from our suppliers.

Occasionally our suppliers advise that products can no longer be sourced
and therefore we would cancel any orders and remove the item from our
website.

Once again please accept my sincere apologies for the gargantuan amount of
inconvenience caused at what is already a very stressful time of year.

Warmest regards for Christmas and the coming year,
#36
