From now on, I am not only waiting for game prices to go down, I am also waiting for games to come out with GOTY editions or *complete* editions. It is so unfair that people who bought this game day 1, and those who spent extra on the DLC put out so much, and then a few months later, the "complete pack" which has all the dlc, and limited edition stuff gets the game for a price that is CHEAPER than the original game itself.

Good price.

I agree, games drop in price far too quickly now....you are almost tempted to wait a few months (or weeks in some cases) for the price to drop. I would be furious if I had bought the limited edition only to see this come out.

In one way or another DLC is the start of the end of current gaming trends.

I dunno, but I am feeling the fatigue of this stuff already. Its happened recently, where I just had a moment of clarity while driving around to find the ps3 edition of modern warfare 2 prestige edition. I just stopped halfway to lakeside and said to myself "foik this, im done".

Basically done with paying full or near to full price for a game. Then shelling out almost 30% of the orginal price for dlc EVERYTIME they bring out a few maps. Then feeling at a disadvantage still because i didnt buy the super elite edition and missed out on some armor or weapon.

I think we gamers have allowed this to go on far too long, and if you listen to people like michael pachter (someone who needs to be burned alive), you realise just how they view gamera (people who pay these people's goddamned wages) as carcasses to suck blood out of.

We have the money, so we have the power, hence I have decided to ONLY buy pre-owned games from nwo on, so not a penny goes to the developer. I don't care if they shut down. The only games I will pay for is like left for dead 2 on steam for the pc, where you pay once, and then get all the extra packs, missions and updates for free. In doing so valve actually desxerves your money. As for the rest? I'm done. just done. I don't care for online gaming, as I only play one or two games online at a time, and if that becomes too expensive then hey - it's JUST a silly game.

If enough of us take this view, we will be sending a message to these bloodsuckers pretty quick.
