Assassins Creed® II is the follow-up to the title that became the fastest-selling new IP in video game history. The highly anticipated title features a new hero, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a young Italian noble, and a new era, the Renaissance.

Assassins Creed II retains the core game play experience that made the first opus a resounding success and features new experiences that will surprise and challenge players.

Assassins Creed II is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florences most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin.

Key Features

EZIO, A NEW ASSASSIN FOR A NEW ERA
Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a young Italian noble who will learn the ways of the assassins after his family was betrayed and he looks to seek vengeance. He is a ladys man, a free soul with panache yet has a very human side to his personality.
Through him, you become a master assassin.
RENAISSANCE ITALY
Italy in the XVth century was less a country and more a collection of city-states where families with political and economic strength began to take leadership roles in cities like Florence and Venice. This journey through some of the most beautiful cities in the world takes place in a time in history where culture and art were born alongside some of the most auspicious stories of corruption, greed and murder.
A NEW-FOUND FREEDOM
You will be able to perform missions when and how you want in this open-ended world that brings back free-running and adds elements such as swimming and even flying to the adventure. The variety in game play adds another layer for you to truly play through the game any way you choose.
DYNAMIC CROWD
Discover a living breathing world where every character is an opportunity for the player. Blending in with the crowd is easier, working with in-game characters provide ample rewards but can also lead to surprising consequences.
BECOME A MASTER ASSASSIN
Perfect your skills to become a master assassin where you brandish new weapons, learn to disarm enemies, use their weapons against them and assassinate enemies using both hidden blades

the PS3 version is not worth the same as the 360 it should be at least £5 less than the 360 always. The PS3 versions is shoddier.

On the list of games to get when they reach the 14.99 price tag. Like many i have looooooooads of games to get thro thanks to the site.

I am still trying to get into Bayonetta but imo i just dont like it,

good to see the prices dropping, but it has a little way to go yet before I'll buy it, and then I will only buy this preowned in protest to Ubisoft's new DRM on PC titles. That way I get the game cheaply, and Ubisoft don't get any of the money.

DRM?

Digital Rights Management

A method of digitally encrypting a game, designed to stop piracy, it doesn't games get cracked anyway. It does stop the second hand PC games market though and the Ubisoft version requires a permanent internet connection to play, so not good if you play on your laptop when out and about!

rubbish game. I sent my rental back because I had no idea how to beat some geezer to some clock tower. But I guess these games appeals to a different type of player.

+1. Not for that specific mission but the game as a whole. The first was cack but having read the 8/10 reviews I expected AC2 to be good. Wrong. They still have this whole convoluted sci-fi plot which is completely impertinent. The characters and script are also incredibly detestable, think Michael Bay quality. Perplexingly TV host/ writer Danny Wallace features as a sneering w*nker on your team who meets your every action with excruciating derision. See a pic of him here http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://media.ubi.com/uk/assassinscreed/dannywallace.jpg&imgrefurl=http://assassinscreed.uk.ubi.com/assassins-creed-2/community_news/%3Fp%3D2172&usg=__BP5A64Il1KHbvv474SFEXAKuMAk=&h=316&w=500&sz=115&hl=en&start=5&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=JPvJztFyw8r-jM:&tbnh=82&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddany%2Bwallace%2Bshortlist%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26tbs%3Disch:1
Ubisoft have kindly omitted the layers of fat that cover his real life face.

Oh and Leonardo Da Vinci features as a bumbling inventor which further muddles the story between the absurd and reality. Essentially this is Hitman for morons. £25 is a start but I would only recommend below £20.

I got the white edition from GAME last week. Hated the first one but ordered it anyway because that is sort of guy I am.
Probably about half way through it and I actually think it is very good although those guys following me around playing lutes are starting to get on my wick.
