have not seen an official press release on it being a launch title though
Haven't even got my Wii U preordered yet, Zavvi upped the price just before I was about to order!

It doesn't seem to say on their item page. Maybe you get a code sent after they ship the game.

Well, if anyone works it out, chuck it up here, if I find out, as I ordered this game also, I'll spread the word too.
Anyway, heat added, hopefully the WiiU version is good!
It looks as though Ubisoft really like the Wii U and are trying to get their brands established on it. They probably chose AC to be cheap because the Wii U players have no way of playing the previous games, assuming they do not have a PS3 or Xbox.
PS: This is a stupid assumption but it makes sense
