I don't really understand the deal here. It says £19.99
6 Months Direct Debit + FREE Assassins Creed 2 for PS3

So the Empire deal is not for 12 months but for 6 months making it a better deal at 19.99

SO what we're saying is... Assassin's Creed 2 for ps3 or 360 + 12 magazines of either FHM or Empire... For under £30 (25 w/ Quidco)??... Am I missing something? :-D

don't be surprised if you dont get the game. I went for this when they were offering the original Assassins creed.. it never came. They've the right to change the gift at any time and replace it with one of "equal value"... they sent me, and others that went for it on the xbox forums, a plane ticket to france instead..where you were "encouraged" to book at a hotel future publishings had an advertising deal with. Basically a scam to get you to sub with one of their mags.

Only go for it if you're wanting a 12month sub with one of the mags anyway..that way anything else is a bonus.

Rated cold from me. You'll just end up with holiday vouchers!

I'm not voting, last time it was a big scam as they had some detailing saying they could give you £25 equivilaent or whatever, which meant a £25 game became £25 worthless vouchers.

Only buy it if you actual want the magazines too as you may not get your gift, it might depend on demand

I must have been one of the only people to get the orginal assassins creed doing this deal then, mine turned up no problems within about 3 weeks. I guess its just luck then.

    Mine turned up as well,
but one thing i will say is after you get your game cancel the subscribe over the phone (phone the International +44 (0) 1858 438866 number & just change the +44 with a 0 so it's a free call on most of you moblies, if you get free minutes on your phone) because in 12 months time they will take another £30 out of your bank without telling you & you'll just get the magazine no game, like they did with me.
but after a phone call to them, they said they're willing to send me the new game  instead of me trying to cancel & get
my money back (which i would have had to send a letter to them & more)

So if you do go for it, cancel the subscribe after you get the game & you'll still get the magazine for 12 months :whistling:
