this game is so glitchy and it had so many issues it's terrible. this will be sub £20 very soon.
#6

Shadow without a doubt. Both are very similar in terms of game design and the way the story is progressed through missions and side missions! but Shadow of mordor runs flawlessly on both consoles and feels new and authentic! to me Unity felt like a step backwards from Black Flag (best AC so far).

seems like they have released a 7GB patch.....lots of fun for people with terrible broadband service.....when will games developers learn that its just not on to release such terrible unfinished games...

you could probably get mordor and AC Black Flag together at near the single price of Unity. They are both far better than Unity as well.

Decent price for anyone who wants it. I've been put off by all the bad reviews!
#13
Not available.

I've been renting it from boomerang for the past month. I don't see what's so bad about it. Had a couple of frame rate issues at first but its fine now.
only thing I find hard is finding people for Co op missions.

picked it up in my local and used a 5 quid off voucher for groceries I got sent. thought I would be hit with loads of updates before starting the game but just the normal install? not played it yet as had stuff to do but will give it a quick play later.
enjoyed black flag having avoided the series after playing the first game and not enjoying it. hopefully this will keep me going till far cry 4 drops in price.

Just picked it up, "special edition" is also £25 instore.

totaly agree;)

If you buy this and the season pass you can get a free game from ubisoft. Farcy 4 was one of them.
#20
Amazon same place- worth buying at this price, particularly as now largely patched.

If you buy this over Shadow of Mordor then your head is as empty as the characters in Unity...

Ok so I have had both games (sold AC due to bugs and other issues, which are hopefully resolved after last update) and as much as I love shadow of mordor, there are few annoying things with it and I can disagree it runs flawlessly. Not as much in Udun, but in Sea of Nurnen bugs are pretty frequent- texture errors (few times I've fallen under textures and therefore died), jumping high in the air for no reason, and many other bugs. Also when using brand ability in a bigger fight fps goes down significantly. Lastly, but for me most importantly, the moving engine is really crap- endless times of bein annoyed by Talion not doing what he's supposed to.

Anyway, yet you can't say the game is flawless, it's really, really, really good and I love it. Killing orcs and captains is so much fun, so is riding a graug. Have nearly completed it (all side missions finished, all skills and upgrades purchased and artefacts collected, just main missions and hunting/collecting challenges left) and I have to admit, it's a brilliant game.

I'm picking up unity from tesco today, we'll see how they managed to sort out the bugs, if so the game might be nearly as enjoyable, lacking on the fun (nothing compares to killing orcs), but probably better in terms of movement engine (so less frustrating at times).
Cheers,
Mat

Edit: Aww and btw I just got a 2 quid starbucks flame deer:)

Was marked at full price in my local (Kingston Milton Keynes). Likely scan at the cheaper price? Didn't check
