Maybe you would like to drive somebody else's vehicle around a track for a while instead of using up the rubber on your own tyres.

BFN,

I bet the tyres would perish first, before used up on the road ;)

Did you buy one on advice from Hot Uk Deals?
What voucher code did you use?
And did you get any Quidco?
Can you use your Tesco clubcard points to pay for it?

£18 per lap. seems pretty expensive.

Why is that then?

How much should it be?

What would you charge to let a stranger drive around a track in your £100,000+ car?

Please be sure to include insurance, track rental, servicing, spare parts, tyres, fuel, instructors wages, Gordon Brown's bit and depreciation.

In comparison it would be around £1.80 a lap in a ford focus............so it is good value.

I've got a Corgi Aston Martin, and a photograph of a real one. Does that count?

Just turn up at the dealers with a sports jacket and cigar and ask for a test drivel - all for free and a nice coffee!

This defiantly works - I did exactly the same thing and got a ride in a Ferrari and Maserati :-D

can anyone tell me where to find the exact locations of these tracks? I'm interested in the Surrey (South East) but can't seem to find any more info

cheers

Whilst I can't vouch for this exact company, I've been on one of these type of things at a similar price.

If you turn up expecting it to be like Top Gear's "Star in a reasonably priced car", I'd lower your expectation.

Normally it involves fulfilling the minimum of what's advertised - driving you around, then making you take the track yourself as if you were on a driving test. Feed the wheel! ;-)

So whats the point in these aston martin, ferrari, lambo experiences? The whole point of these cars on a racing track is to have abit of a lead foot.... is it not? not to learn to drive on a race track lol. IF thats thats case your better using a nissan micra around the track... no?
#24
I'd say the point is just so you can say you've driven one..
#25
yeh but if your daily driver is a micra then no one is going to believe you :-D
