Aston Villa v Chelsea Villa Park, Saturday, 16 October 2010 17:30

£25.87 a ticket, doesn't sound a bad price to me for a top premiership game.

I disagree. For a fixture like this, thats fairly reasonable indeed. Switch it the other way round (stamford bridge) and see how much it is then!

It's still a ridiculous amount of money to pay if you want to take your kids (and that's where the future of the club lies after all), it's just not as ridiculous as Chelsea.

It's £18+ to watch Bury in League 2. The price of watching football generally might indeed be a 'total rip off', but if you're familiar with Premier League prices, you can't really argue with this

Its £15 for children for Champions League & Premiership & £10 for FA & Carling cup games, which isn't ridiculous.

It is when the accompanying adult has to pay 40 quid. I stand corrected, Chelsea prices are just as ridiculous as Villas.

And to avoid any ranting, I'm sure my club's prices would be just as ridiculous if we could ever drag ourselves out of the mire we are in. Simple fact is a ton to take three kids to a football match is an absolute joke. Reduced prices for kids are no good if you are going to hammer the adult taking them.

The problem starts with overpaying the players.
Those stupid multi-million pound annual salaries have to be met somehow.
