I thought this was posted already but cant find it, so sorry if it is.

M80 mix amp plugs straight into an Xbox one controller (old style headset connector, not the jack) . The mix options are great and all controlled from the M80.

Halo 5 edition; this means its blue, says 'Halo' on the underside of the amp and comes with an item code for Halo 5, no one will ever know!

reduce by £45 from an already low (lower than the other m80+A40 prices) £139.99.

cheers.

Oops forgot to put that this isnt a goose chase (atm atleast) as available for home delivery and there were a bunch of places 'near' me with them in stock.

Edit; IT ALSO SAYS "HALO" ON THE TOP BAND OF THE HEADPHONES, though it is black on lighter black.

Ok while your old controller lasts but how do you use that mix amp when you have to replace your controller with the newer model?

A40 headset is awful, I attatched them to the mixamp pro and then done the same with my turle beach x07 pros and they are much better.

i have an elite controller and would just buy another, but yeah definitely something to consider before purchase.

correct me if i am wrong but that is a 2.0 headset is it not? Also the A40 plugged into the Xbox is 2.0 to?

I read somewhere that really put me off the M80 over the Mixamp Pro .... Is it true that you can only use the A40 with the M80? I really am not a fan of the headset personally.

Also the website is wrong, The M80 is stereo only not surround sound.

Hi, you can use other headsets that have the right jack, but you are right about the 7.1, for some reason I can't edit my post without losing the tags and other bits but will do once I get on my pc.

amazing sound not heard turtle beach for comparison so can't compare. But also can't recommend both broke and I paid £200 for them.

Plenty of buyers replaced M80 with MixAmp Pro and got surround sound, judging by internet chatter on the subject.

This was on ps4, I tried both headsets while playing cod 4 remastered and the xbox one x07 headset was much better, going to have to sell the astros.

The mixamp TR which is the amp you need for surround sound on the Xbox is 80 to £100 without a headset. This is the closest to wireless you can get without paying out for the A50's in the wireless options.
