Noticed they also do a Toshiba 17" laptop that Includes laptop bag and Toshiba S20 1080p full HD camilio camcorder (worth around £100 the pair?). same price.

Not sure how long, but I recall my neighbours telling me they got all their white goods and a dual fuel cooker from Next when they moved in 2+yrs ago. Also a walk in shower tray/enclosure. I then looked and found their prices quite competitive which surprised me a bit.

This seems like a good deal for an i3 17.3" . I think ASUS has a good rep.

I got an Asus earlier this year, and can honestly say it's the best laptop I've had...great to use, seems good build quality, and the keyboard is superb. I think Asus is generally pretty well respected, unlike Acer which they seem to often be confused with, Acer are the ones people generally advise to avoid (never had one myself, so just going by opinions of people who have!)

I bought the Acer from Comet yesterday and can confirm that it is an excellentbit of kit.

Going on the 739-365-G46 ref code on Next site and then checking the Asus website would the G in the code make it a "Gaming Powerhouse" laptop?
#25

Just bought mine. Seems to show out of stock but if you try opening a new page and search for 739-365-G46 it shows the item back in stock. You might have to do this a couple of times though so goodluck.

This is the lower spec version of the one I have and it's great, especially if it has the dedicated graphics as well. :)
#37
can you confirm (or link) to the specs then?

Asus are so much better than Acer. Great build quality. It's just a shame Next don't have a spec list... Or even a model number for this laptop.
#39
Anyone know what the battery life is on this?
#40
I just managed to order one, showed oos and I tried on a different browser and it said delivery within 4 weeks.
