I was going through old deals looking for a good reference point for a 'cheap' Asus Strix 970 when I came across an expired deal with Eclipse. On further inspection it seems that the card is available for order at the old deal price (£275.94). Credit goes to 'Allthedeals' who posted the original deal.

"Normally in Stock" Not heard that one before

All of their products are 'Normally in Stock'.
I ordered this card at this price just a couple weeks after release, and received it after about 10 days. The website said "Normally in Stock" at the time of ordering which concerned me as I knew how high demand for 970s was (and still is), and despite the site looking frankly a little dodgy I had no problems at all. The Strix for me is the pick of the bunch, runs cool and quiet even under heavy load. If you're considering a GPU upgrade, this is the best value for money out there by a mile.
It's a decent price but the MSI can be had for £269.94 inc.VAT from the same store.

The MSI is the better card, quieter, cooler and quicker out the box.

The next cheapest I could find it with the game was from Aria which came to £303 delivered. If you want to pay £25 for the game then get it from Aria. If you want to pay £275 for the card get it from here. I actually opted to pay £297 and get it without the game from Amazon just because I wanted it tomorrow and from a retailer I trust.
still cant believe how monstrous these 970's are for the money. hoping they do a 980ti with 6 or 8gb and then ill upgrade
yeah, I'm stuck on choice between this or or MSI frozr...
Price gone up.
Do all 970s use GDDR5 video memory?
I couldn't see it specified anywhere.

Yes they do. This is spec for the reference card which all others are based on:
