Same price as the Aria Super Special.

Good cards, but prices are coming down all the time. An XFX 8800GS was cheaper a couple of weeks back at savastore.
However the 8800GS are reputable noisey as the fan speed can't be as effectively controlled, as the relatively small fans need to keep spinning fast to keep them cool - as they are clocked to make up for the cut down pixel units and stuff.

I have the Asus 8800GT. One thing to note about the Asus cards is that the cooling is excellent. The fan is stuck on a very heavy metal heatsink, and the whole thing runs several degrees cooler than the reference design...

... and the xfx might be a tad faster, but their customer service is disgusting, and the cooling on them is utterly shocking. I have a 7900gto that I had to replace the entire cooling for. It would run like a jet engine.

I bought the XFX Alpha Dog 8800GS from Saverstore when it was £72 delivered. Great card performance wise, but very noisy. I agree about XFX customer service, I had a general enquiry about my card, and despite numerous emails have not received a reply. The Asus card seems like a good deal to me though, voted hot.
