Cold.

1: Asus are extremely unreliable with motherboards (went through 4 before I finally got a working Maximus Gene, no thanks to Scan for refusing to replace the first one).

2: Scan are a terrible company to deal with when it involves high end equipment being faulty. My Maximus iii mobo had a blown capacitor, which is easy to replace anyway. They had the audacity to accuse me of damaging the mobo myself, which in turn lead to a 1 hour phone call with an incompetent indian sales rep, and then a further phone call to Barclaycard to get a refund.

Needless to say, a month later Scan phoned me up with more accusations (as well as to offer me a replacement mobo!) saying that I should have informed them of the Barclaycard call etc.

Possibly the worst company in the UK when dealing with PC equipment.

not much wrong with Asus IMHO, and a blown capicitor can happen on any mobo - so for that I would give it heat

however, that tale of woe and disgust regarding Scan makes this sub zero

I have had dealings with Scan and have not been impressed but the story above is just poor CS

Pretty scary story. Seeing more and more of these. Never had a problem, but never needed to return anything.
