You've seen this before, but not under £100. Been waiting for this one to drop.

Apologies for the copied spec:

Dual-purpose wireless router and DSL modem, featuring DSL WAN port and switchable Ethernet WAN/LAN ports in a single space-saving device

Compatible with ADSL2/2+, ADSL, VDSL2, fiber and cable services for complete future-proofing

Combined maximum data rate of 1900 Mbps allows smooth streaming of 4K/UHD videos, online gaming or other bandwidth-intensive tasks

Dual dedicated CPUs for wired and wireless connections to maximize both range and stability

AiRadar with universal beamforming optimizes signal strength in any direction to give up to 150%* coverage and is backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n clients

Multi-purpose USB 3.0 port supports file sharing, printers, 3G/4G dongle sharing and media streaming — with up to 10 times faster data transfer than USB 2.0

ASUS AiCloud lets you access, sync, share and stream data from your home network to any internet-connected PC, Android or iOS device

I got a cheap one from amazon. Netflix only connects to 1 out of 3 servers on my ps4

Main advantage of this router over BT Homehub etc. is the wireless performance. If you have fibre and use the standard provider router you will probably find performance drops massively if you are more that a few feet from the router. This will give you far better coverage and far better performance. It also has many bells and whistles missing from provider kit.

Mainly better, faster wifi, longer distance, less blind spots, dual band so less interference, parental controls and Quality of Service - QOS. Parental controls let you give times and access to certain devices in the home, so kids can't use it before school and get chucked off at 8.00pm for instance. QOS allows you to priorities devices in the home, your laptop and the TV get priority of the bandwidth available. If I've not described something correctly or missed anything please chip in.

GenerL opinion seems to be this is good for WiFi but has a poor DSL modem. Given its age maybe worth avoiding even if discounted.

I have one, I'm not impressed - the first one was replaced. As the previous post good for wifi, not a great modem, I'm always losing connection.
