Sorry ?? ;-) , The Operating System can be changed to a Mac OSX, although the wireless unit built into the notebook wouldn't work... ( is that enough ?? ) ;-)

It looks good this deal

I want one, but with a 6 cell and in black at this price >.<
#11
I would have brought this had it been the 6 cell mode battery life too shortl, still a good price though.
#12
Built in Wifi does now work under OSX. Bought one returned from eBay Argos shop last week for £153 delivered (refurb though if that matters to you). Now running Snow leopard very well and fully updated to 10.6.4 with no major issues. Personally tho' I did replace the wifi card with a Dell DW1397 which is recognised as an Apple Airport card. Lovely little netbook IMHO.
#13
Should also say that 4 cell battery currently gives me 3.5 hrs under Win7 but only 2.5 hrs under OSX ( speedstep not working yet I guess). so 6 cell , of you can find it, would be the better option.

Looks good. Anyone know if the warranty can be extended or the RAM upgraded?
#16
good price but i am also considering adding £35 for the 6 cell
#17
this is great, isnt this a better resolution screen than the majority of other 160 quid-ish netbooks!

1024 x 600 is standard at this price on a 10" netbook. The Dell 1012 that Davidben83 posted in #14 has an HD screen option which is higher resolution than the normal (1366 x 768).
#19
Yes, and the laptop I listed above came wiht a six cell

So, if you are not in a hurry, periodically check Dell Outlet.

That's an advantage not a negative. Running super bloated operating systems on low powered machine is never a smart move.
#23
Should I buy one of these for the wife then?
#24
going to wait for one of the higher res deals, but this is hot deal - heat added
#25
Load UBUNTU!!!!
