Intel Celeron M Processor
512 MB Memory
ASUS Linux Operating System
2 GB Flash Hard Drive
7" Widescreen Display
(You should know the specs off by heart by now!)

After putting their online prices up Currys have now reduced them... Anyway, this is only the 2GB model so not a great deal, but having a quick look it seems cheaper than anywhere else (Ebuyer is £219.99) and is in stock! Plus with the QuidCo and £7.50 off voucher you can get it for £181.55.

Also available online at PC World, and speaking to a friend working instore at Currys they will pricematch Currys Online (but not Dixons...), Im not sure whether this includes 10% off though, if it does its even better!

(N.b. Girl not included)

I have voted cold simply because I would hate for anyone to buy this without realising that the 4G is much, much better value. My 4G (twice the HD, +webcam) cost me £230 with fast delivery from Micro Anvika. I'm sure 80+% of people would rather pay the extra £30. Maybe some people would like to wait for the eee 900 too with a slightly larger, touch-enabled screen.

Not trying to be nasty, just know it would peeve me a bit if I ordered without realising these things.

When is this new one coming out any dates yet ? the screens to small on these ones.

Voted cold because for an extra £20-£30 the 4G is far superior

May/June timeframe. It will have GPS, Touchscreen, bluetooth and multi-finger gesture support. Now the time Apple needs to realise they are overcharging their 6-bit LCD Screen MacBook's and MacBook Pro's.
