I know there a lot of deals flying about for the EEE especially with new models waiting for release. Toys R Us have reduced their's by £20 for the Linux model (£269) but as this is running on XP (and is £1.22 cheaper) think it is the current winner. Happy to hear about any cheaper outlets as my son is desperate for one.

Personally would much rather have the Linux version for the larger capacity drive - better value than the XP version IMHO.

That said, seems very cheap for the XP version, so voted hot.

extremely cold as the spec is much worse than £262 Vostro 1510 a while ago .What's more, Asus is definately not among quality producers such Dell

;)

Are you a muppet? Google who ASUS are first, find out who they really are - then complain that they are not a good company.

It seems that the likes of APPLE and SONY have their laptops made by ASUS only to badge it with their named logo....

Must be a reason why it is good for APPLE and SONY...... 7777777 Would you like to elaborate???

Its a bit like LENOVO - they make IBM laptops........

When is the one with the ATOM processor and HSDPA slot in it out - I think its the 901??? As I am really after that.... or it will have to be the ECL G10IL much better specs... also gloss white - resembles the macbook air for some reason :)

Noooo.. I am not a muppet - I was just joking.I know that ASUS makes great laptops but some [email protected]' s followers will never believe that ;) (cheaper line of ASUS will always be better made, than cheap lines of Dell's which are made with the cheapest components on the market)...
