Voting cold due to Asus support and the legendary approved network of repairers they use who are basically shoddy computer shops known to solder bridging cables to fix broken laptop sockets rather than replace them.

I got a Dell with a 960m for £699 (£650 with cashback) - I very much doubt the 1060m is worth c.£500 extra given the small incremental improvements of previous generations over their predecessors

The 1060m is a big jump from the 960. It's not minor at all.

The new Nvidia 10 series are a massive leap over the 9 series, desktop performance in a laptop. Laptops have never been as close to desktop performance with equivalent model GPUs.

Still, it's not worth approx £500 more just for the better graphic card
