Not a bad price at all!

Yeah, averaging around £130 and it comes with FC2 so all round a decent deal

looks a nice find

A good price considering the Asus brand, but not exceptional for the GTX+ in general. OcUK have a GTX+ for £114.95, and Aria have them on their SuperSpecials page for £95.95+vat which is £110.34 inc.

Neither include a free game worth at least £15, or free delivery worth another £7-8.

The Asus may come with a longer warranty as well? Edit: Yes, just confirmed that it's 3 years. I'd be surprised if the OcUK/Aria cards had more than 1 year.

The game is worth nothing unless you specifically want it. The warranty is a good deal however. The Palit cards which Aria are selling have a two year warranty, which to be honest is probably sufficient given that these cards are already one generation behind, and will be pretty much obsolete in under two years.

OcUK do free shipping if you have been a member of the forum for a while and have over a certain post count.

Good deal although i wouldn't buy this card myself. Far Cry 2 is ****. I stupidly bought the collectors edition and haven't touched it since the day it was released.

Hot deal for me, game not worthless even if you don't want it, there are a couple of used ones on fleabay currently going for over £7.50. Heat added.

Ah, i see:

Maximum HDTV Out (Component) Resolution 1920 x 1080 (1080i)

That is presumably because there is no fixed standard for delivering 1080p over component cables. (something to do with RCA connectors being unsuitable for signal frequencies beyond 100mhz)

Your PSU will need two 6pin PCI-E connectors to power this card.

it also comes with a 2 molex to 6 pin connector though.

That takes care of one connector, & is only recommended to use if the PSU is reasonably powerful.

Best to use 2x dedicated 6pin PCI-E connectors
