It's not actually brown, just black. For some reason they state it as brown but a brown nexus 7 has never been released. I bought one from them last week for £139, this is a great deal for a new one!

Makes no difference if the Argos Ebay were refurbished ,mine was in brand new condition not a mark on it with 12 months warranty.

Sub £90- £100 by Xmas folks ?

I reckon, ...not in a bad way, just the way the market goes.

I voted hot earlier as its a good price for a very useful tablet.

My old employer used to do refurb work for O2, much of the time when they consolidate old stock the only thing 'wrong' is retailer barcodes and security stickers have been applied to the boxes.

It's a funny colour, in certain light it is kinda brown.

It's like this Audi but a little darker:

I was fortunate enough to obtain a brand new 32GB 3G model (in this deal) but this is still hot from me.

So basically a dark brown, i.e. not like the Audi at all? :P

Will this automatically update to the latest jelly bean software? It's sold with 4.1. I don't know much about android. Thinking of this for my 10 year olds birthday.

Yes. The Nexus range is designed to be a "pure" Android experience and so runs totally untouched - "vanilla" if you like - versions of the OS, so the updates are available instantly.

Ordered thanks. I checked out a review that compared this with the 2013 Nexus 7 link here. I can live with old technology for £70 less.
