Ice cold. The 512MB version of this card starts at £30, and the performance difference between this and that is minimal. Remember, more RAM only makes things faster if you need the extra capacity, if not, it just adds slows the process of retrieving data from it, making things slower. 1GB cards of this class are more a marketing stat than anything else, and isn't anything to be excited about, or that I'd suggest buying.

Edit: Oh, on the other hand, that's AGP. Still, £30 premium to use the old, slow interface? Before buying this, I'd consider spending that £30 on a new motherboard. Might be possible to swap your CPU and RAM straight into it, making for a fairly cheap and painless transitiion into a far more powerful platform. 'Tis just a thought, anyway.
This isn't bad, I have 2 kids systems still on AGP and one needs a new gfx card. I can't justify new mobo/cpu/ram as well, just to play a few games. It currently uses a 6800GT so this should be a step up.
