Don't know anything about these, however other sellers seem to have them around the £200.
The Maximus Extreme motherboard provides awesome Overclocking speeds and challenges performance limitations. Equipped with the innovative Crosslinx technology for increased performance, it utilizes the Fusion Block System - an effective 0dB fanless design cooling system with a chipset waterblock that adds onto a power user's existing watercooling circuit to help keep operations cool. Additionally, SuperemeFX II not only increases the sound quality, it also enhances aesthetic value. The Maximus Extreme also adopts the Intel X38/ICH9R chipset and supports cutting-edge DDR3 dual channel memory and CrossFire Technology - making it the Overclocker and Gamer's first and best choice.

That's a nice board if you're a home builder.

Hot.

Good price, probable mis price. Nice find.
#3
Excellent price but one word of warning - its DDR3 memory so the 100 or so you may be saving on the mb will more than be swallowed up by the cost of the memory !

Also if youre going to OC (which one would assume if youre buying this type of board), its not as good as some other boards out there especially considering its retail price ...

A review for those interested

A £200 mobo at a quarter of the price? Says delivery is 1-3 weeks, which makes this a tad unbelievable. Anyway, if it's true, I'll give it a vote.
#5
BARGAIN and bought it for the sake of it.... just built a new machine. :-(

Sure i'll make use of it somewhere.
#6
It would appear that Amazon has spotted the booboo, now priced at £200.88.

Tell a lie just spotted the correct price, great find!
#7
Great price, but Amazon will never honour it. People who order will receive cancellation emails within the next couple of days.

Just to mention the north and south bridges on this board are water cooled so you will need to attach a pump and reservoir to use it,

very good price.

Not true, they come with blankers on and you remove them and attach pipes if you wish, you dont have to, with it being copper air cooling will do to

Just bought one from Amazon. Comparatively this is £216 from ebuyer ! http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138872 God knows how we are going to make use all these computer bargains! There are more PCs than there are users! However as the other person stated this uses DDR3 memory which is very expensive! Need to pay £100 more than DDR2 for 2 GB. So I shall put the mobo into stock and wait for the DDR3 to become more popular!

Thanks mate, I ordered one just now, still in stock and shown as being sold by amazon.co.uk. Rep added, the heat buttons are not working, may be due to expired status, even though the item is still available.
