Think this is a good deal for an x58 based motherboard. Doesn't have USB 3.0 or Sata III but CCL also do an Asus card that supports both if needed.

Good board! I'm using the P6T Deluxe V1 (only difference being they removed SAS from the V2) but got a good set of features and when matched with decent RAM + i7, couldn't be happier.

Had mine nearly 2 years now and hasn't missed a beat!

Using Corsair dominator 1600Mhz, i7 920 and GTX295 Gfx card.

Seems to be a good price so why the cold votes?

Very good price, I have this board, excellent for overclocking. Cost me £200ish about a year ago.

I'm sure the Argos groupies have NO idea what a Asus P6T Deluxe v2 actually is X)

I honestly thought this would have been a scorcher. I've been watching the price of x58 motherboards for a couple of months now, getting ready to spend between 130-140 GBP on something similar,

I'm interested in reasons why it's not a good deal having put my money where my mouth is. Comments so far seem to confirm my initial impression so I'd like to hear if I've missed something.

Great price!

Whats with the cold votes? Why do people vote on things they have no idea on?

Ive seached for reviews of this board, it looks like its pretty hit ot miss if you get a working one. Looks like there is lots of people who have posted there problems about this board.

I was thinking of trying to build my first pc, either an i5 or i7 not sure if its worth the risk to try and do an i7 with this. Is there any deals on an i5 motherboard about?

Excellent quality board (got the v1 and couldn't be happier), absolute bargain at that price. As already stated get an add-in card for usb3/sata6gb if really needed and save yourself a packet over one of the latest x58 boards.

Good luck if you ordered, I fear a misprice cancellation.

I agree, this board is £160'ish everywhere else, scorcher if they honour it though!

Me too, looking very much like a misprice.
