Anyone know if this is powerful enough to my Sony Bravia TV to get the internet content etc...?
I want to stream BBC iPlayer and youtube etc...

Any better deals? or will i need the 1000mb ones?

To stream iPlayer you won't need much bandwidth. Remember iPlayer is streamed over the net to people through 10-20mbit cable links so these should be fine even if they ran at half that speed.

Shame they don't have pass through though.

True but at least the plugs will be standard size so you can plug stuff in next to it!
Some homeplugs are so big 1 plug takes up 2 slot of space!

I currently have 85mbps which will happily stream 720p HD from NAS to XBMC, occasional lag so iplayer, even the "higher qulaity" on the Bravias, won't be a problem as it's only equivalent to SD really.

Would imagine compressed 720 from lovefilm would be fine too, assuming your connection is up to it.

It plays a lot more than just low bandwidth stuff like iPlayer though... for example, you can stream HD Video from your PC to play on it, and for that it will need more bandwidth than wireless g.

These 200mbs units are ideal.

Is this a box with an external power lead (like a radio 2-socket) that you can remove or does it have a built in plug ?

Have just checked with the store, and this is definitely a twin pack.

I will be heading to the shop tomorrow to pick up a couple of packs!

Thanks to the OP for finding this
