This looks wrong to me...£30.00 for a 1070 and £50.00 for a 1080.
#5
It's £30 cashback on the 1070, £50 on the 1080
#6
O8G only £30, not £50 :( so only £370 with cashback

Type Models Cashback Reward Promotional Period
STRIX STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING £50.00 01/03/2017 – 31/03/2017
STRIX STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING £30.00 01/03/2017 – 31/03/2017

Really? I would buy this as it is even cheaper.

Do you mean "picnicing" ? Whatever...they won't be worried that's for sure.

Any reason why you think its the best version of 1070's on the market?

The 1000 series gpu have gpu boost 3.0 which basically means overclocks out the box is meaningless. It will overclock itself taking thermals into account.
Looking at benchmarks I wouldn't buy a particular 1070 for its performance because they are all so similar. Pick one for size or aesthetics or price.
This is good news you can save £50+ on getting a different 1070.

You might not like his answer but he's correct, $11 billion company vs $1.5 billion company, one that's had a steady 30% growth and one a steady 40% loss.

Nice to see they're still coming out fighting though :)

what a cracking deal! I got the Asus 1070 GTX dual OC last week for £373, wish I held off now. Have some heat OP!

Paid £450 for this in November. But on the up side, i've been using it for months and i'm happy with it. Great card though, not had a problem with any game i've thrown at it.

flubit the link for more off

Can be had for £340 (inc Asus £30 cashback) if you go via Amazon Warehouse. Does it matter if the box is slightly damaged since there's a block of foam inside?

Like the other top models ,they pick the best chips for overclocking and this is pretty much the coolest air cooler on the market .
It's a great card , running the witcher 3 at max settings at 100fps with a i5 2500k at stock and never goes above 55c

Assuming they'll be great is just as fanboyish as assuming they won't.

I recommend that you do the Amazon wedding thing and get 50 quid voucher

Amazon wedding thing?

use another Amazon account and create a wedding list, put the 1070 in that wedding list.

use your normal account to find the 'wedding' and then you can find the 1070 in the list.if you buy it, the other account will receive a 50quid voucher
