Hot Deal. Lovely piece of kit with great reviews.

Oink! My Dell Inspiron is nearly 8 years old but still working fine. I upgraded it several times, maxed out the RAM, bigger HDD, better video card and upgraded to Windows 7. My wife uses it now and my grandkids won't touch anything that old!

Expect more price drops across all Ultrabooks as they are replaced by Windows 8 touch screen models.

Nice laptop but only disappointment is the 1,366 x 768 panel. The older model had a higher res.

Do you think they would accept a netbook for trade in?

This is the low end version, the UX32VD model has a very nice 1080p screen but the price tag is close to £1000.

If you're referring to the UX31 i think you'll find that's the newer one! the UX32 is just a different model, not newer.

Seems like a price mistake to me

24GB SSD? Surely they mean 240? Because 24 is barely enough for the essentials like Office or any other system apps

I know you can store all your other files on the normal HD but c'mon 24 is way too small

It's supposed to be a boot drive only. It's not intended for other programs.

Very pretty but with all that metal it was quite a heavy beast when I had a play in the local Muppet World shop in central Bristol.
Might just keep saving for something lighter.
