Thats good to know as im planning on getting a new monitor soon but heard IPS screens are no good for gaming
Good price if it was ~5 like everything else, but 14ms is useless.

I have the LG IPS235, looks great and played a bunch of games (mostly FPS) and seen no ghosting what so ever. The only annoying thing is that it makes my other LCD monitor look shocking.
errrr no

errrr yes it's IPS too with only 8ms response time?
errrr no
it's just a way higher quality monitor
But i'll report back when it arrives.

no good for gaming? :3 quite the opposite.. ips are actually better in gaming because of their faster refresh rates above 60hrz and better viewing angles...
the only downside of cheaper ips panels is the response times usually above 15ms compares to average 5ms of tn panels
but this model has 14ms.. which can result to ghosting but depends if you actually notice those... would not really bother me.. screen stuttering resulting from below 60hz refresh rates - that you would really notice.. but it really depends if setup can really chug out more than 60fps then stuttering would occur esp at 120fps but if your system can barely handle 50fps then just go with a cheaper TN panel..

Last I heard was that good response times are impossible on IPS screens due to the tech & how it refreshes horizontally or something like that which is why there usless for gaming as the tech used in them is just not designed for it. There designed more for graphic designing & photo editing. I have seen this mentioned time & time again by professionals so im not sure how likely I am to take some randomers opinion on a forum over several professionals. I could certainly be wrong but I think I would prefer to do some more research before I buy 1.
