Good spec and hot from me, it's a shame the resolution is only 768 vertically - not really enough for me, 800 should be a minimum

We ordered one of these last week (£20 more sadly), it arrived yesterday.

First impressions: looks like a nice machine. Decent spec, build quality is alright for the price, it's not too heavy, the only thing we weren't so keen on was the colour (brown) and the fact that the case is so shiny it's a fingerprint magnet.

Bargain at this price!

I got a great Samsung Laptop recently. Doubt it is as good.

Pretty poor processor...these P6100's are about the same performance as a T4500 which is pretty old, still for this price a 320gb HDD and 4gb of RAM is nice :)

this seems like a good deal torn between this and the Samsung E452 Core i3

Advice and recommendations would be much appreciated or if you know of a better deal than this let me know

Just be careful of the power cable thing, can deteriorate; webcam is pretty poor and mic jack can also deteriorate quickly. :(

hi, can anyone tell me what the best laptops are for battery life

laptops with CULV processors, i have an asus ul30a which can hack about 10hrs...

CULV (consumer ultra low voltage) processors generally start in laptops around 13" and lower, you sacrific power to get them mines a 1.3ghz dual core, lenovo were doing a brand new with the su7300 processor 13.3" and 14.4" at save on laptops for around £299, thats probably your best bet for battery life as you get a bigger screen though that s going to use more energy thus reducing your battery life...

the thin and light laptops with CULV processors form another group of laptops - and if you are the type of user that doesnt need a heavy duty laptop but a netbook does not quite cut it, these laptops are amazing. i have a core i7 desktop and the lenovo u350 (which i am using right now) and most of the time with everyday use i cannot tell a difference between the speeds. goes to show i probably didnt need the i7 in the first place..but i needed a desktop at the time and that was a great deal..
anyway the lenovo is really a beauty - really looks the part, extremely portable and great performance with average of 8-10 hours of battery life.

but more on topic, this is a good deal. lot of spec for the money, good make. hot.
