  For folk who have not heard of Asus they are one of the top 4 PC manufacturers they are the OEM for a lot of companies
  
  1) PS3s for Sony
  2) Macbooks for Apple
  3) Desktop Dell and HP
  
  Asus own brand items tend to be very good quality. There motherboards are very good as are their laptops.
  Top brand, great support (drivers and firmware). Good price.

  I don't know about the others but Asus definitely used to make Apple's computers for them. I believe Foxconn do that now though. Asus are still a huge ODM.
