Much as I hate to promote them Ebuyer have the Asus Xonar D2 7.1 PCI Sound Card for £89.99. This is going by all the reviews I have read a superb soundcard. The next cheapest price I have found is about £10 more.

They also have:

The Asus Xonar D1 7.1 Soundcard - PCI Connection with £10 off at £59.99 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149266

The Asus Xonar D2X 7.1 PCI-E Sound Card with £14.99 off at £104.99 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/141346

The Asus Xonar DX 7.1 PCI-Express Soundcard with £5 off at £59.99 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146350

Their usual prices on these are very competitive, with the reductions I can't find cheaper.

Not sure why you hate to promote Ebuyer - they are a very good company.

That's what I used to say - then I had some "issues" with them :-)

Iv had many issues with them, they resolved them all perfectly. the most recent was a replacement of faulty 2 gig RAM for 4 gigs. Didnt even skimp on brand or latency! They provide a fantastic service in my experience

They always were good with me until recently when getting them to sort out an RMA took 3 weeks. I'd (now i realise this was a stupid thing to do with hindsight) placed an order via google checkout but if you aren't logged in to your ebuyer account when you place the order it creates a new account for you which you can't access as you don't ever get the login details.

After I'd emailed them about this I was told to phone up to get the login details as they couldn't supply them via email, after phoning I was told they can't give login details over the phone, in the end I had to get google support to pester them with threats of a chargeback and then magically they could phone me up to do the RMA.

In future, i'd certainly not order with ebuyer via google checkout again though.
