Great tablet. If you don't want IOS then probably the best ipad alternative currently. Bargain.

More so than that of the £200 odd (or less) Linx 12.2" and Linx 10.2" Windows 10 Tablet's currently still out there? (both of which are rocking 4GB RAM also, and 64GB eMMC, as opposed to 32GB eMMC).

OP .. no mention of Android 6.0 anywhere in your Deal?. :-)

Picked one up this week, typically it was more expensive at £259.99 at PC World. Nice tablet, very pleased with it.

I got one too, very nice and I come from a Nexus 9. Only issue is the USB c port so having to get a new spare charger and stuff but that port is the new standard anyway.

Looks a nice tablet, heat

Does this feel a big upgrade from the Nexus, I've got one myself and was thinking about getting this to replace it

Curry's should refund difference for this, bought one this week also.

Just seen that Anker have some micro USB to c adapters. Might be worth a look.

I was just about to ask how this compares to a nexus 9 (my favourite tablet) but my 9 is starting to slow down and showing it age

This is much faster than Nexus 9. Much faster processor and double the RAM, so no comparison et all.

Edit: Nevermind, seems that Asus are **** when it comes to updating their tablets so there's no chance of this getting Android 7.0 which has a bunch of massive improvements. Might as well pay more for something that's actually supported by the company

Was just reading about the petition someone has set up, very surprised at Asus for being that bad! I would assume /expect updates within reasonable time frames

I have a 16gb nexus 9 .
It has less than 10 apps on it and about 100 pics.
It doesn't have space to download android 7.
Pathetic really. At least the Asus is expandable

Looks good but I'll stick with my galaxy tab s2 for now.

I get at least around 6hours of screen on time. Mainly because I have to increase brightness because it is so damn reflective. Hoping the mat screen protector I got will help with this.

As for software updates, it currently does what I need it to do browse and play media. As soon as this is not possible I'll upgrade but for £220 this wasn't bad.

It depends what you want this for? graphics performance is pretty bad compared to the nexus 9 not really for high end gaming, apps to sd do not work :( poor battery life, but does have 4gb ram and a decent screen :)

Might as well pay a bit more and get a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 if I want future proofing, micro SD and good specs

That's what I'm planning on doing, going to wait for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and see how it compares to the Pixel C as they're both in the same price point. The S2 is just slightly cheaper now since it's so old, but stock is hard to find

I think anything would be an improvement over that POS, mines had to be repaired 3 times before I finally used my credit card warranty to get a full refund after Curry's fobbed me off after 12 months past. It doesn't have the GPU chops of the N9, but the processor shouldn't suffer from the poor support in android for 64bit and it's not short of RAM so it will likely run faster on day to day stuff and crash a lot less. On the flip side it's a lot cheaper than the N9 or the C so the gaming performance isn't that big a deal.

That being said I would never buy another thing from Curry's after the crap they put me through with the N9.

Does the stylus come with this?

Bought one from Swindon. What a headache. Reserved. Took 15 mins to pay because they had to find a salesman to try and sell us everything we didn't want or need. Let's hope they send a mail asking how they did...

I still remember the Comet store some time back. Whenever i went there they would try to sell me the world while i had the least interest in buying what they wanted :)

I think Currys and PC World also employ the same people, so just best to order it online than going to store.

Don't buy. Absolute rubbish. Screen reflection is annoying, constantly glitches
. Mine has died this afternoon and now won't switch on. Only had it a week!!

Why limit yourself to Android only when you can get a dual boot Android / Win10 tablet at this price?

Why Win 10? Its a dying OS now. With Android and iOS it will not gain developer support for apps.

ROTFL. Show me the equivalent of FCP or Premiere on Android. Android is hideous for any serious work and simply does not scale.

Glitches? Got mine loaded with a load of apps and had none so far. Might be a particular app. I use mine in the house and no problems with reflections. Impressed so far.
