Come dirt, snow, rain or shine?. Capture all the action with the Oregon Scientific all terrain digital video camera!
Whether it's BMX adventures, skate boarding exploits or ski activities, this hands free video camera will capture all your extreme sporting feats.
Wipeouts in a white out? Not a problem, the Action Cam is also water-resistant and ideal for wet and wild activities. Kayaking through rapids or wake boarding across seas is all possible with this video camera as the camera is water resistant to depths of up to 3m (10 ft). The Action Cam straps easily onto helmets or handlebars, so you can re-live the sporting action from any angle. Unlike other video cameras this wireless Action Cam leaves your hands free to concentrate on catching that crucial wave or landing the wildest of jumps.

Just to clarify, i don't think this includes the helmet.
The ATC3K has now been in stock for about 80 at Currys ...but this is a good price for the 2K. I used it for a coupla YouTube motorbike vids and the quality of the video is good - but the audio is APPALLING ... so unless you use a music soundtrack then forget it. Go to YouTube and type in THEFARTGALLERY and look for Lorna's First Harley Ride ... that was done on a ATC 2K. Again - for that kinda money you cant really go wrong and its just plain ideal to shove in yer pocket and point at people with it unawares kinda thingy .. weel done laddie!
On the Oregon web site it says the 2000 is splash proof NOT waterproof as Argos says.
I've got the 3K and it's brilliant for strapping to motorbikes and underwater shots on holiday etc. It's not dvd quality (especially the sound) but great for grabbing action shots to slip in to your holiday video productions!
What Bruce said is spot on, the filim quality is fine and fit for purpose (use it for my snowboarding) but the audio is damright awful.

The ATC3K has been out a while and does have the greater memory capcity but I am unsure of the auio quality on that.

For £50.00 this a pretty good buy and they are still good and can take a good pounding!
I would vote hot, if I could find any stock.... (as I would like to buy one)
Cheers Beetha! Yes I understand the 3K is a bit crap soundwise too!. And the ATC5K is about £150 for the integral screen ... but IMO if yer spending that kinda cash ... then get a Panasonic SD7 like wot I used eventually with a RAM mount. And ten times better quality all round. But quite clearly NOT splashproof, or anything proof really ...

And .. like the reader above says ... there aint no stock not nowhere or nothin'! :x
I have one, paid £100 it's decent enough - sound is terrible though not worth having on. I use it on my mountain bike, not great mounted on handlebars but good on 'helmet'
