had one that looked identical from DealExtreme. The sound quality & transmission clarity were unfortunately very poor and I have now given up on it. Just thought I'd mention it ...

me too, tried it with lots of different types of batteries, some expensive ones too, but was too fuzzy even after trying different volumes on different stereos and transmitter, cost me a fiver on amazon, couldn't sell it on feebay too, but may try again at some point

Good price. Won't bother buying it after reading the 2 comments above though.
#12
worth a shot at that price, if it's poor no big deal at under £2. :)
#13

I also have a similar one from dealextreme which is fantastic.
The sound distorted until i turned the sound output down to 50%, and music with a lot of cymbals has to go even lower.

The reception all over the house is great. You can power these using a simple male-male USB adapter, and the reception was significantly improved by extending both the power and audio cables away from the computer with extension leads.

Here is my dealextreme shopping list:
USB adapter http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.745 $1.28
USB extension http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2510 $2.64
Audio extension http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5115 $1.60
FM transmitter http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.625 $7.88

I now can listen to itunes / iplayer on any radio in my house. Fantastic!

Got one of these when I was out in China for about £3 a year or so ago! Really useful...!
#19
ordered, £2 cant go wrong:thumbsup:
#20
There's only one review on the Morgan Computers' site, complaining that it gives a high-pitched whistle, so it's put me off :-( Shame because it'd be a nice stocking filler for my brother.
#21
Ordered one, thanks. Heat & rep added. Deserves a 1000+ degrees for this thread.
#22
**** or not, cant complain for £2

great stocking filler
#23
I've got one of these and you'll get what you pay for.

Construction is weak, sound quality is poor, not very user-friendly...

but cheap. If you're looking for a bit of fun, I guess at this price you can't complain.
#24

I was thinking yesterday that something might be wrong and they have scammed me.

But today, a packet came through my door with my name written on it and inside was the transmitter.
#32
Got an email when i ordered and nothing since, nothing through the post.
#33
I ordered on the 9th, got email confirmation on the 9th and money has been taken. By Monday 15th nothing had turned up, so I phoned them and they said they despatched my goods on the morning of the 9th by first class post. Today, Wednesday 17th they turned up. I haven't got round to checking them out yet to see how well they work, but at least they are here.
#34
Nothing here yet - been a while and payments been taken. Will leave it til tomorrow then poss give them a call.
#35
Received yesterday - anyone else?
#36
Ahh - just shown up 10 minutes ago, right after posting on this thread!

Had another one ordered to another address so hope that's arrived too, won't find out 'til tomorrow.
