Not everyone's cuppa, I know - so read before voting. If you think you can find a better price, find it and then vote!

Audi are running an Audi Service plan for Audi's that are between 36 and 72 months old from the initial date of registration. 1 Major Service and 1 Interim Service for £299 only for up to 2.0 litre cars, and £399 for over 2.0 litre cars.

Normal price for a Major service is £309, and the interim service is £159 = total of £468. So this is a saving of £169.

I know a lot of people trust their local garages for servicing... but I think that this offer gives the security of having your Audi serviced by Audi garage for a price that may be slightly more than the local garage.

Avoid West London Audi dealers on the A4 at all costs, nice building and conference suite but their workmanship is second rate and customer service third rate. Last year I took my car in for a service and they gave me an Andrex size list of work that needed to be done to my car which was laughed at by my local garage, they lost my locking wheel nut key (gave me a replacement after I made a fuss), made me wait 45 mins even though they claimed my car was ready for collection and the courtesy wash was a bucket of water thrown at the car. When I complained the manager told me I should be happy that they didn't charge me for the bucket of water! Audi build nice cars but have bunch of jokers running dealerships.

Essentially you would be mad to buy just the one service.. as the service plan includes two services for less than one major service..

Some of the bigger centers also throw in a 4 wheel alignment check normally £39.99 for free with each service too..

Obviously Courtesy Car or Collection and Delivery is also included (Insurance is sometime extra)
A service wash is also included. (Not quite a Full Valet but pretty close)
Free Visual Health Check (Can't remember how many things they check but a lot)
All Software Updates (Recalls , Software Tweaks)
Trained Technicians
Audi Genuine Parts
Includes VAT

Your car won't need an annual service. My A6 only needs it every 2 years or when the mileage tots up :)

Not much better on the sales side :( ignore you for ages in the showroom, promise to call you back but never do, tell you a cars there to look at but when you get there it isn't. And given its our local dealership, I've heard the same stories from lots of friends and family. Ironically I had to get Slough get a demonstrator off West London for me and then go past West London Audi on the way to try the car :/

Don't know what they are like now but they were hopeless some years' ago. The German mechanics don't rate the Brits at all. Another issue is the mechanics are on a bonus plan for maintenance income but the Audi's don't normally break often enough to meet their bonus targets.

you are very unlucky. I have run Audi since 1984 and have had 6 all Quattro ranging from a 100 to A6 and A8 doing 40-45k a year. I have had them worked on at 7 different dealers across the country. All of them have been very good. My other half had a diesel 80 and had problems with the dealer in Manchester. I phoned Audi UK and they rectified the issue for me straight away.

Give me a good Indy over an 'experienced' main dealer' monkey any day of the week .....

Grr mine is just over 6 years old.

Do they give you vouchers which you can redeem later? I want the deal but won't need a service for a few months yet...

plus heat and thanks OP

got my A6 serviced last week on this deal. Dint think that they should charge anything more thsn £200 for a majpror service as they dont include change of break fluid and coolant even st a price of £309.

Probably explains why they tried to charge me £36 to change the rear number plate Bulb when I asked how much was the bulb they quoted 79p. Had a Type R many years ago and scratched the metal gear knob with my ring so I took it to the Loughton dealers and they gave me a free replacement and fitted on for me all because I had my car serviced by them once, now that's what you call service.

VW (who own Audi) do the same plan for VW branded cars. Got my VW on a service plan and paid £249 for 3 years service. Plan's like this pay for themselves after the first year of ownership, so its a no brainer.

Is there a time limit on the services? The only reason I ask is that when I traded my A3 for an S4 Avant I got 2 free services. However because the S4 is on long life, I actually only got 1 service as in the small print it states both must be used within 20 months of the purchase. Seemed a bit of a swiz as even if the car was on intermittent servicing it would be 1 service every 12 months.
Also, bit off topic but has anyone had trouble with the headlight washer getting stuck out on theirA/S/RS4?

Thank god I can change my own oil, will cost me like 120 for two services lol

This is what I have always done with my Vw and Audi's... Go to my local garage get a price for oil and filter change, get them to write it out on a receipt as long as there VAT registered which all are anyways. My local garage charges £20.
Then pop to Eurocarparts to buy some Castrol Edge 5w30 for roughly £30 5 litres (make sure you get a discount code, they e-mail me them all the time if you sign up). Buy a genuine oil filter and sump plug from Audi £12 for both.
Go to the service desk and ask them to price match the garage (they'll always haggle the price). My last car 2010 model Vw Scirocco cost around £75 for everything in total.

Audi, poor service all round, customer care is non existent, cars a build is naff.
No surprise really as every dealership is run as an independent business, leasing the Audi name of Audi and buying the cars in to sell on to us suckers, don't rate german engineering after a 'usual' oil pump failure on a 50 thousand mile 2007 A4 which cost us £2,500, Audi UK say we were "UNLUCKY", no help even though the part that broke isn't a serviceable item...so how is one to know when it needs attention...oh yer, when it shatters your engine...google it, more common than you think
Sorry for the rant on one's page, wont vote cold as I've said my piece.

does this mean their doing this deal with the skoda & seat division too? They are part of the vag group

Do Audi take your car in for a service and bill you for extra work without permission like BMW ones do?
#36
Whilst I am a complete nonbeliever in dealer servicing (a quality independent always trumps that) the fact is a car is always more desirable when it has a service history book full of dealer stamps.

Thanks very much for posting this deal.

Damn, had mine serviced last week at an Indy specialist for £150.

There not allowed to unless you give them concent mate. Your giving them the car for a service you asked, meaning oil and filter, you've asked for nothing more. They have no reason to check other items on thr car because ypu haven't asked and its not an MOT.

Think bmw will follow suit????

I just paid £200 for a minor service on my A6 :(
Don't think this applies to me as its 1 year old....
Still not sure why I was charged £200 instead of £159....
