Seems a great price for a diamond HDMI cable and its 5 metres which is a bonus. Only issue is if your looking to use this with a shiny new tele it will arrive after Christmas.

Free delivery though to complement the bargain.

If 5 metres is too long 3 metre cable is available for just over 1600 quid, so again not too bad!

In a digital world it either works or it doesn't :-). £2.99 or £299 make your choice :-)

The nasty salesman at my local Currys, just convinced my 79 year old father in law to buy an £80 HDMI cable to get the best quality picture on his new tv.

how wrong you are.

Try getting a non certified cable working at 10m to give you 18Gps so you get [email protected] with HDR.

Yeah what he said. If you have a 4K tv you need the diamond cable otherwise its not gonna be 4K. Thats my guess anyway but thats why I bought this hdmi cable.

I like decent quality cables, especially when I keep rearranging them to keep my wife on her toes. You see, she thinks she can't figure it out but I just make it as confusing as possible so then she thinks she has a reason to keep me around.

Good cables = long marriage.

No doubt the ebay reseller scum on HUKD will be buying 10 so they can rant about how they got the one they keep 'free' :)

Why so many cold votes? Can those voting care to explain?? :p

I watched linus tech test a 1000 dollar hdmi and it was slower than a standard 2.0 cable. It's all based in the sales tactics of making sh*t up that sounds good and try to confuse the buyer thinking they need this or that.

Picture quality won't improve with this over another simular cable.
#32
Cold, it was only £1,609 earlier this month.

Just bought this, should work well with the £17000 Linn turntable i got off here earlier X)

Your poor father in law making two fatal errors, the first one was to go onto Currys, the second was to take any advice whatsoever from the Currys salesperson (or cash extraction from suckers person, as they're known in the trade)
