Austins (Pimms alternative) is back at Aldi! £7.80 a litre (£5.49 70cl)
Austins summer drink is back at Aldi for the summer! If you're looking for a cheap alternative to Pimms then this is definitely your best choice.
Stores started stocking it today, apparently some won't have it until the 28th.
At 22%, it's wine based (unlike Pimms that's gin based), but tastes VERY similar. When mixed with lemonade and fruit (and a dash of gin if you like), you really can't tell the difference to Pimms.
Cheapest Pimms at the moment is 2 litres for £26 at Tesco, so £13 a litre. At £7.80 a litre, Austins is definitely worth buying :)

Well worth a try, but I did a blind tasting with several friends and all picked out the Pimms as preferable. It has a bit more alcohol too.
Not quite, it's 2 x 70cl bottles for 20 quid.
